Sheltered by a forest canopy, a magical kingdom awaits with oil lanterns, barrel fires, bass bins, light installations, top notch tunes, and mythical forest creatures…ladies and gentlebugs…we give you the infamous Psychedelic Forest Disco at Kelburn Castle!

Over two stages, we are serving up party music across the spectrum – from soul, funk and disco (of course) to electro, house, bass and techno. Among the guests we welcome the cult figure that is JD Twitch (Optimo) back after his performance at The Kelburn Garden Party in 2011, alongside NYC disco legend John Morales (BBE/Studio 54/M+M Mixes). There are live performances from hype newcomers Mia Dora (High Sheen/Moda Black), Den Haan and Mosa Funk Club. And that’s just a taster – here is the full line-up so far:

The music starts at 6pm and runs through till 4am, after which point there will be a nice cosy campfire to unwind. Camping is free, and the campsite opens on Saturday midday and closes Sunday evening. Feel free to come down and enjoy Kelburn Country Park in the daytime.

There will be BBQs, a bar and cocktails. We regret you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol into the site, but consumption in the campsite is fine.

This event is stricly over-18s. Valid ID WILL be required on arrival.

Overlooking the stunning Kel Burn gorge across to the surrealist graffiti art sproject that adorns the Castle itself, the Viewpoint at Kelburn is probably the coolest place you’ll party in Scotland!

Taking our cue from the wildly enjoyable and popular Psychedelic Forest Disco, we’re doing a (possibly) one-off Psychedelic Forest Carnival! You might be able to guess what’s involved here, especially if you’ve been to the Disco. There will be live bands and DJs, with more of a focus on tropical sounds and spicy beats, and of course the site will be lit up and decorated accordingly.
