Case Study:

UKF Edinburgh.

Intro.

In 2012 we teamed up with leading bass music specialists and YouTube channel UKF to throw one of the biggest bass music events that Scotland has ever seen. For this event we took over the 1600 capacity Potterow venue at Bristo Square in Edinburgh. The stellar line up of 14 artists was split between the two venue’s at Potterow.

What we did.

Most of the work for this event was undertaken by us with UKF providing extra promotion and helping us secure some of the bigger artists such as Feed Me (Spor) and Loadstar. We installed 26KW of our sound system in to the main room and sourced the remaining PA for the second room from Bass Alliance in Glasgow. We also sourced local visual artists to run the visual effects such as projection mapping and lighting in the main room. Physical promotion was sourced and distributed by ourselves around the whole of Scotland including cities such as Aberdeen, Dundee & Glasgow.

Results.

The event was an overall success and it cemented our place as one of the bigger promoters in Edinburgh as well as strengthening our relationship with UKF & their parent company AEI Media. The sound in the main room delivered the maximum amount of punch required for the bass heavy line-up on show and the projection mapping and DMX controlled lighting added greatly to the overall aesthetic of the stage.
