Viva Kelburn Carnival!

Published on July 22nd, 2011

Just recently, the two most notable things to rock the sleepy coastal retreat of Largs have been an obscenely big Euromillions win this month, and the levels of seismic activity that occur as a whole host of partygoers descend upon the grounds of Kelburn Castle to enjoy its endless festivities.

Whilst its unlikely we’ll be seeing another huge lotto payout in the near future, what can be certain is that Kelburn won’t let the summer patter end anytime soon. That’s why it’s our pleasure to invite you to back to what is possibly the most picturesque mini-festival you could hope for, and this time it’s tinged with the essence of samba to compliment the predicted heatwave.

Occupying the weekend of August 13-14th, it’s got all the essential nutrients beyond the sun’s own vitamin D, such as exotic food & cocktails, sports, workshops, the beloved waterfall pool and live performance arts – all infused with that miracle serum we call ‘music’ (plus the Electrikal tent on site as usual for the night owl ravers).

Just so you’re not too bitter about your numbers not coming up, the weekend camping ticket is a very modest 32 quid (and booking fee), so come join the rest of us peasants. We might not have 161,000,000 in the back pocket, but we can look forward to fresh sun, beers and one helluva party. Priceless!
